Services

Our services are customized to meet the individual needs of each patient. When a person becomes a patient of East Nashville Wellness Center, we start by completing an intake. After this, we work with the patient to create an individual treatment plan.

Our customized services include:

-Medication Management

-Individual Therapy

-Comprehensive Medication Review

-CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia)

Medication Management

Medication management services are common for a psychiatry office. Based on an initial evaluation, our team may prescribe medication. If medications are prescribed, the clinician reviews the medication in detail with you. This review includes any side effects, how to take it, and what the expected outcome would be. In addition, we follow up with you to ensure the medication is meeting your goals.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with our psychiatrist involves relatively frequent visits and talking about problems to better understand them and working to make changes in how you act and think. Different problems may require different solutions, but we often use short-term cognitive-behavioral therapy to focus on goal-oriented improvements in your life.

Comprehensive Medication Review

Comprehensive medication review is a unique service offered by our clinical psychiatric pharmacist. Our pharmacist will review all the medications you are taking in detail. This includes reviewing the best way to take your medicine, what it is for, and what side effects to watch out for. Also, ask any questions you may have about your medication.

CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia)

CBT-I is a specific type of therapy focused on improving sleep and is considered the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. Our psychiatrist is one of a few Tennessee providers trained to offer this therapy by CBT-I researcher Dr. Gregg Jacobs, PhD. This therapy typically includes 4-6 weekly sessions focusing on sleep and improving sleep habits.
