How do I Refer Patients?
Thank you for thinking of referring patients to us. While we are happy to take referrals, when possible, we prefer that the patient call us directly at 615-669-5305 to schedule an appointment. Alternately, providers or a provider’s office can call us at 615-669-5305, fax a referral to 571-376-6562, or send us secure e-mail to hello@eastnashwell.org.
What Insurances do you take?
Currently we take the following insurances:
- Humana
- United including typical UMR, UHC, Optum (but not Medicare Advantage)
- Medicare (traditional plus limited Medicare Advantage plans)
- Cigna
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Aetna
For those patients who have insurance that we are unable to take, we provide superbills for out of network reimbursement at no cost. We also have a generous sliding scale. We do our best to make sure affordability is not an issue.
Do you see children?
Unfortunately, no. We are only accepting adult patients at this time. Mature minors (age 16-17) may be seen on a case-by-case basis under special circumstances.
How do I Request Medical Records?
Medical records requests should be faxed to 571-376-6562, with a valid HIPAA authorization if we do not have one.
How collaborative is your practice?
We love having a collaborative practice, and firmly believe in working with other providers to benefit of our patients. Within our clinic, we have a psychiatrist and a psychiatric pharmacist who are constantly coordinating care. Outside our clinic, we especially love coordinating care with therapists and primary care. Some psychiatry offices require a patient to see them for both medications and therapy, we do not.
